Subject: The Rules We Invest With (And Why We Win)

From: G.L.A.INVE$T RESEARCH
Date: January 30, 2026

Happy Friday Maniac’s!!

It’s January 2026. The new year is underway, and I’ve been thinking a lot about how we got here.

If you’ve been with me for a while, you know I don’t just throw darts at a board. Every move we make at G.L.A.INVE$T is governed by a specific set of principles—a code I’ve developed over a lifetime in this game.

I call it The G.L.A. INVE$T BIBLE , Aka Our Manifesto, Aka The G.L.A. Constitution, basically the Rules and Core Principle’s We Invest With.

Starting today, I’m kicking off a new series where we are going to tear into this “Bible” together. I want to take you through each rule, depth-first. I want you to understand not just what we do, but why we do it.

But first, let’s talk about why I built this place.

The “Why” Behind G.L.A.INVE$T

I spent 25 years in this industry. For 20 of those years (2002–2022), I was a Series 7 Licensed Stockbroker on Wall Street. I was in the trenches. I traded short-term for high-net-worth clients who wanted to speculate. I was there on the front lines for every crash, every correction, and every earnings call.

And I’ll be honest with you: I eventually realized that the “Wall Street way”—the gambling, the short-term trading, the fees—wasn’t the best way to build actual wealth. It wasn’t the best strategy for me, and it certainly wasn’t the best strategy for my friends and family.

So, in 2022, I retired my license. I walked away because I wanted to build something that actually put the investor first.

I started G.L.A.INVE$T RESEARCH to be the service I wished existed. A premium coaching product to keep you in the know with what’s really going on. I wanted to design the best strategy with the least amount of risk for the next 5–10 years—a period I view as the “Super Bowl” or the Golden Age of investing. (Go Pat’s!)

Our Mission is simple: To provide you with breaking news, “news translation” (cutting through the noise), deep-dive coverage of the top innovation investments in the world, and my unfiltered perspective.

⚠️ A Quick Housekeeping Note (The Legal Stuff)

Before we dive into the rules, let’s get on the same page. We are a research company. We do marketing, consulting, education, and content creation.

I am not an investment advisor or a licensed stockbroker anymore. We do not give investment or financial advice. I’m sharing my research and my playbook. What you do with it is up to you!

The G.L.A. INVE$T Bible: Part 1

This document isn’t just a list; it’s the operating system for our portfolio. These rules evolve, but the core remains the same. Let’s look at the first three.

Rule #1: Our Philosophy (The Voting Machine vs. The Weighing Machine)

90% of this battle is just knowing what not to do.

The market asks you to make a choice every day. You can treat it like a casino (the short term), where prices are driven by popularity, emotion, and news. Ben Graham called this the “Voting Machine.” It’s erratic. It’s risky.

Or, you can choose the long term. Over time, the market transforms into a “Weighing Machine.” It measures true value—earnings, revenue, profits. That is where we live.

The G.L.A. Mindset:

  • Volatility is part of the gig. Just like rush hour traffic or waves in the ocean, corrections happen. We don’t fear them; we expect them.

  • The market has historically recovered prior highs. Future recovery is not certain. Whether it was ’87, 2008, or COVID.

  • We don’t time the market. We seek exponential growth. Look at the last 5 years of returns for our favorite companies versus the traders who tried to jump in and out. The long-term holders won. Period.

Rule #2: Our Strategy (Unconventional by Design)

I’m going to be real with you—our strategy is a little unconventional. And I like it that way.

We like to put all our eggs in just a few baskets, and then we watch those baskets like a hawk.

We aren’t here to match the S&P 500. We want to outperform it by 5X or more over the next decade. We are hunting for companies that can 10X, 20X, or 30X.

How we do it:

  • Rigorous Research: We use our proprietary scoring system.

  • Buy & Hold: We sit on our hands and let the companies work.

  • Managing, not Trading: If a stock goes parabolic (like NVDA or PLTR often do), we might trim 10-15% to reallocate to an underperformer or move into a “cash-like” hold that still carries investment risk. But we only sell if the thesis breaks.

  • Zero Emotion: The research tells us what to do, not the TV.

Rule #3: The Playing Field (The Next 5-10 Years)

This is the most exciting part. I believe we are in the early innings of the largest productivity boom in human history.

We’re talking AI, Robotics, Energy Storage, Blockchain, and Genomics. This isn’t just an upgrade; it’s a step-change. The industrial revolution gave us electricity and the car. This revolution is going to dwarf that.

Our research says global GDP could average above +7% by the end of this decade because of these technologies.

Every part of our strategy is built for this game board. We are looking for the companies solving the biggest problems, because they are the ones that will see the biggest exponential returns.

Coming Up Next:
In the next newsletter, we’re going deep on Rule #4 (Know What We Own) and Rule #5 (Information is the Commodity). I’ll explain why we obsess over research and how we find the “must-have” companies before the masses do.

Stay focused. Stay researched.
