“Bitcoin is not a risk asset. It is risk-off insurance against the failure of fiat currency systems.”
— Michael Saylor, MicroStrategy / Strategy
📣 FROM THE DESK OF COACH KYLE
Welcome back, G.L.A. family. If you have been following us for any length of time, you already know our position: Bitcoin is not optional for portfolios seeking to outperform over the next decade. This week’s issue is packed — we are covering the Clarity Act, the nation-state FOMO brewing globally, Strategy’s STRC “iPhone Moment,” the bitcoin mining resurgence, and our long-held conviction that Bitcoin north of $800,000 by 2030 is not a fantasy — it is a base-case scenario once institutional and sovereign adoption hits full stride.
Let’s get into it.

🏛️ COACH KYLE’S TAKE: THE CLARITY ACT & JULY 4th DEADLINE
This is the most important piece of legislation for the digital asset ecosystem in American history — and it is moving fast.
On May 14, 2026, the Senate Banking Committee voted 15-9 to advance the Clarity Act(formally, the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act), a 309-page comprehensive crypto market structure bill. The bill establishes fundamental legal definitions for when cryptocurrency tokens are classified as securities, commodities, or other categories — ending years of regulatory limbo that has strangled innovation and institutional adoption.
Coach Kyle’s call: The Clarity Act gets passed by July 4th — America’s 250th birthday. The White House has explicitly stated it wants the bill passed by July 4. Senator Tim Scott, who chairs the Senate Banking Committee, marched into that hearing room on May 14th declaring, “We take one step closer to making America the crypto capital of the world”. The political will is there. The bipartisan support is growing.
Here is why July 4th matters beyond symbolism: once the Clarity Act becomes law, the U.S. government will have a legal framework to begin active acquisitions for its Strategic Bitcoin Reserve. President Trump already signed an executive order on March 6, 2025 establishing the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve, seeding it with approximately 200,000 BTC from government seizures. But the real purchasing program — the active accumulation — requires the legislative clarity that only the Clarity Act provides.
When the U.S. government starts buying Bitcoin on the open market, the FOMO among other nations will be unlike anything this world has ever seen in financial history. This is not speculation — it is already beginning. El Salvador now holds 7,643 BTC as of May 2026. Brazil has reintroduced legislation for a national Bitcoin reserve called RESBit, aiming to accumulate up to 1 million Bitcoin over five years. Pakistan has announced a strategic Bitcoin reserve. Sweden proposed a national Bitcoin reserve in late 2025. The domino effect is in motion.

📖 BITCOIN 101: FOR OUR FRIENDS WHO ARE STILL LEARNING

We never leave anyone behind at G.L.A. Every week, we cover the basics — because understanding what you own is the first rule of investing.
What Is Bitcoin?
Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency — meaning no government, bank, or corporation controls it. It runs on a technology called blockchain: a public, transparent, tamper-proof ledger of every transaction ever made. Think of it as the internet of money, except nobody owns the internet.
Bitcoin was created in 2009 by a mysterious individual (or group) known only as Satoshi Nakamoto. There will only ever be 21 million Bitcoin in existence — that number is hard-coded into the protocol and cannot be changed. To put that in perspective: there are approximately 8 billion people on Earth and only 21 million Bitcoin. Many are already lost forever. The actual circulating supply is likely closer to 15-17 million coins.
Why Does Bitcoin Have Value?
Bitcoin derives its value from three core properties:
Scarcity — 21 million fixed supply, unlike dollars which can be printed infinitely
Decentralization — No single point of failure, censorship, or seizure risk
Security — The Bitcoin network is the most powerful computing network in human history, protected by what is known as Proof of Work
What Is a Halving?
Every four years, Bitcoin undergoes a “halving” — the reward that miners receive for validating transactions is cut in half. This reduces the rate at which new Bitcoin enters circulation. The most recent halving occurred in April 2024, reducing the mining reward to 3.125 BTC per block. Post-halving supply squeezes historically ignite the next major bull cycle. We are living in that post-halving cycle right now.
What Is Bitcoin Mining?
Mining is the process by which new Bitcoin is created and transactions are verified. Specialized computers (called ASICs) compete to solve complex mathematical problems. The winner adds the next “block” to the blockchain and earns the block reward. Mining is what makes Bitcoin honest — it requires real-world energy expenditure, making fraud prohibitively expensive.

🎙️ WHAT THE GREATEST MINDS IN BITCOIN ARE SAYING
The smartest investors and analysts in the world have not changed their conviction — in fact, they are getting louder.
Michael Saylor (Executive Chairman, Strategy / MSTR)
Saylor recently reiterated at the Bitcoin 2026 Conference that Bitcoin could reach $10 million long-term. His near-term target is approximately $150,000 by end of 2026. But his more grounded forecast calls for 30% annual appreciation over two decades, implying a valuation of up to $20 million per Bitcoin by mid-century. His company, Strategy, now holds over 815,061 BTC acquired at an average price of approximately $75,527 — making it the largest corporate Bitcoin holder on Earth, surpassing even BlackRock’s IBIT.
Raoul Pal (CEO, Real Vision)
Raoul Pal predicted that Bitcoin’s bull market would extend well into 2026 — beyond most conventional cycle expectations. He has pointed to his “Banana Zone” thesis — a boom phase driven by expanding global liquidity — and argued the 4-year cycle has stretched into a 5-year cycle, pushing the real price peak to 2026. He sees Bitcoin continuing to outperform virtually every other asset class due to its monetary scarcity properties.
Jack Mallers (CEO, Twenty One / Strike)
Jack Mallers, one of the sharpest voices on Bitcoin’s monetary thesis, predicted Bitcoin could hit $150,000–$200,000 by end of 2026. Mallers has argued that no matter how the macro environment unfolds — supply chain shocks, emergency money printing, or AI-driven deflation — Bitcoin ends up higher in every scenario. He has called Bitcoin “perfect money” and believes the global monetary order shift currently underway makes owning even 0.1 BTC a transformational financial decision.
Tom Lee (Co-Founder, Fundstrat)
Tom Lee has doubled down on his $200,000–$250,000 Bitcoin price target for 2026. He argues the traditional four-year halving cycle is breaking down as institutional adoption accelerates and that Bitcoin is entering a structurally different phase of its history. He has called for a “tsunami” of capital flowing into Bitcoin and Ethereum in 2026.
Cathie Wood (CEO, ARK Invest)
ARK Invest’s Big Ideas 2025 report projects Bitcoin at approximately $300,000 (bear case), $710,000 (base case), and $1.5 million (bull case) by 2030. Wood has reaffirmed as recently as April 2026 that Bitcoin’s timeline to $1 million is accelerating, driven by institutional interest and a phase of price stabilization she describes as a “bottoming process”. She believes Bitcoin is transitioning into a global store-of-value asset — the digital equivalent of gold.

🍎 STRC: STRATEGY’S “iPHONE MOMENT” FOR BITCOIN FIXED INCOME – BEST DIVIDEND INVESTMENT On EARTH
If you have not heard of STRC (ticker: STRC), now is the time to pay attention. The bitcoin community is calling this Strategy’s “iPhone Moment” — and the analogy is apt.
STRC is Strategy’s (formerly MicroStrategy) floating-rate perpetual preferred stock, designed to provide stable pricing, high yields, and convenient liquidity for yield-seeking investors who want indirect Bitcoin exposure without the volatility of holding BTC directly. Here is what makes it extraordinary:

Target price: $100 per share, with a variable monthly dividend
Current yield: Approximately 11.5% annualized — far above U.S. Treasuries
Over-collateralized by Bitcoin: For every $1 of STRC issued, Strategy holds approximately $5 worth of Bitcoin as collateral
Cumulative compounding dividends with a “dividend blocker” — no junior dividends paid if STRC is in arrears, protecting holders
Since launching, STRC has generated over $5 billion in proceeds. Strategy CEO Phong Le himself called it the company’s “iPhone Moment” — a product that redefines a category. What Apple did to communication, STRC is doing to fixed income: creating Bitcoin-backed yield products that compete directly with bonds and money market funds, but with the asymmetric upside of Bitcoin collateral.
Other Bitcoin treasury firms are already showing up as buyers of STRC on their own balance sheets — using it as a liquid, yield-generating Bitcoin proxy. This is the beginning of a Bitcoin capital markets ecosystem that will eventually dwarf traditional fixed income.
G.L.A.’s Take: For Investors who want exposure to Bitcoin Without the Volatility STRC is the Perfect Investment. For income-oriented investors who have been sitting on the sidelines of Bitcoin, this is your bridge. You get yield. You get Bitcoin collateral. You get monthly cash flow. Watch this space closely.

📈 OUR CONVICTION: BITCOIN NORTH OF $800K BY 2030
At G.L.A. INVE$T RESEARCH, we have been consistent in our view: Bitcoin will be north of $800,000 by 2030. Here is the framework:
ARK Invest’s base case for Bitcoin by 2030 is approximately $710,000, with a bull case of $1.5 million. Cathie Wood’s updated projections place the bear/base/bull at $500K/$600K/$1.2M. Michael Saylor’s trajectory implies roughly $500,000 by 2030, with $10 million as the terminal value. Fundstrat’s Tom Lee sees $200K–$250K by year-end 2026 — meaning even the near-term trajectory alone points toward $800K+ by 2030 following the next cycle.
Our $800K+ thesis rests on four compounding catalysts:
Regulatory clarity — The Clarity Act unlocking trillions in institutional capital currently on the sidelines
Sovereign FOMO — U.S., El Salvador, Brazil, Pakistan, and more actively accumulating Bitcoin reserves
Supply shock — Post-April 2024 halving with only 3.125 BTC per block, against exponentially rising demand
Institutional products — Bitcoin ETFs, STRC-style fixed income, and corporate treasury adoption creating structural demand floors
🏆 MSTR: ONE OF THE MOST VALUABLE COMPANIES IN THE WORLD — IN 10 YEARS
We are on record: Strategy (MSTR) will be among the most valuable companies in the world within a decade. This is not hype — this is math.
Strategy currently holds over 815,061 BTC acquired at an average of ~$75,527 per coin. Its Bitcoin holdings already exceed $61 billion in value. CEO Phong Le has publicly stated his belief that Bitcoin could hit $1 million in 7 years — and that Strategy’s Bitcoin-per-share growth positions MSTR stock for potentially stratospheric returns.
The company is no longer just a software firm that holds Bitcoin. Strategy is the world’s first Bitcoin Capital Markets company — raising capital through innovative instruments like STRC, STRK, and ATM equity offerings to continuously accumulate Bitcoin at scale. This model has no precedent in financial history. As Bitcoin approaches seven figures per coin, Strategy’s premium to net asset value — currently compressed — will expand dramatically, creating a reflexive upward spiral in the stock.
If Bitcoin reaches $800K–$1M by 2030, Strategy’s BTC holdings alone would be worth $650B–$815B at current holdings — before accounting for any additional accumulation. The company is targeting 1 million BTC by 2030. At $1M per coin, that is a $1 trillion asset portfolio from Bitcoin alone. Compare that to Apple, Microsoft, or Nvidia today. The math is staggering.

💼 G.L.A.’s PORTFOLIO MANDATE: BITCOIN IS NON-NEGOTIABLE
We will say it plainly: any portfolio that wishes to outperform over the next 5–10 years must have meaningful exposure to Bitcoin and Bitcoin-backed products. This is not a bold prediction — it is the emerging consensus among the world’s most sophisticated allocators.
Consider the suite of instruments now available:
Spot Bitcoin (BTC) — Direct ownership, maximum upside
Bitcoin ETFs —(ARKB IBIT) Regulated, liquid exposure (BlackRock’s IBIT, Fidelity’s FBTC, etc.)
MSTR / Strategy stock — Leveraged Bitcoin exposure with capital markets optionality (Bitcoin on Steroids) Designed to be Volatile.
STRC — Bitcoin-backed fixed income with 11.5% yield
Hood / Coin Two great ways to play Bitcoin and Crypto
The question is no longer whether to own Bitcoin. The question is how much and through which instruments. At G.L.A., we believe a 20–40% portfolio allocation to the Bitcoin ecosystem (across these instruments, calibrated to risk tolerance) is not aggressive — it is prudent.
