🗞️ G.L.A. INVEST — March 2026 Monthly Update With Cathie Wood.

This Month’s “In The Know” with Cathie Wood https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2gBVQ7NqyY&t=774s – “ITK”

Episode 77 of ARK Invest’s In The Know dropped on March 6th, and as always, Cathie Wood delivered. This month she explored a productivity-led macro view driven by disruptive technologies like AI and cloud computing — themes that align perfectly with our own Rule #3 (The Playing Field). She highlighted a transition from what she calls a “rolling recession” to a rolling recovery, with encouraging signs in housing, capital spending, and manufacturing. On the AI front, Cathie discussed how enterprise AI adoption is expected to cause a step-function increase in productivity — pushing productivity growth from roughly 2% up toward 5%, which she believes will actually ease inflation over the long term. Geopolitical dynamics, the strategic role of disruptive innovation, and the macro outlook for oil and private credit were also on the table.

We are honestly blown away by what is going on behind the scenes with AI right now.ARK’s research indicates that AI training costs are declining at approximately 75% per year, while AI inference costs are dropping by as much as 99% per year — and most of the world doesn’t even realize it yet. This is exactly the kind of information asymmetry that Rule #10 (Think 18–24 Months Ahead) and Rule #22 (First Principles Research) were built for. By 2026, ARK believes companies that fail to train models on their own proprietary data will be left behind by more aggressive, AI-native competitors. The revolution is not coming — it is already happening.

Cathie Wood and ARK Invest continue to inspire us deeply. We genuinely believe they produce the best long-term innovation research on the planet. As Cathie herself said: “Big Ideas is not a report reacting to markets — it is about identifying step-function change before it becomes obvious.” ARK’s Big Ideas 2026 report — their 10th annual flagship — projects AI software revenue reaching $14 trillion annually by 2030, a combined digital asset market cap of $28 trillion, and an $11 trillion autonomous mobility market. This is precisely the game board described in our Rule #3, and it reaffirms every conviction behind our Sexy 6 portfolio.

📖 G.L.A. Investing Constitution — A Reminder of Why We’re Here

Every time the market shakes us, we come back to The Rules. Our Constitution is the backbone of everything we do — built from 25 years in finance, 20 of them as a Series 7 licensed broker navigating every crash, every correction, and every lesson the market had to offer.

The core of our philosophy (Rule #1): The stock market is the only store in the world where customers get scared when there’s a sale. Over the long term, the market is a weighing machine — it always finds its way back to new highs, without exception. The crash of ’87, the Great Financial Crisis, COVID — every single time. Remove market timing from your strategy and you unlock the possibility of exponential growth. PLTR went from $7 in 2022 to $201 — you simply cannot get those results by trading.

Our results speak for themselves (Rule #26 & Rule #2):

  • 2023: G.L.A. Sexy 6 +174% vs. S&P 500 +26%

  • 2024: G.L.A. Sexy 6 +212% vs. S&P 500 +23%

  • 2025: G.L.A. Sexy 6 +49% vs S&P500 =17.9%

These returns don’t come from trading. They come from deep research, concentrated conviction, and the discipline to hold while others panic.

🔑 Rules to Live By Right Now

With markets experiencing turbulence, here are the rules most relevant to this moment:

  • Rule #6 — Volatility is a Feature, Not a Bug. Corrections are literally part of the game. 10% corrections happen on average once every 12 months. We don’t panic — we DCA.

  • Rule #7 — Miss 10 Days, Lose Half Your Gains. The biggest market rally days follow periods of maximum fear. Sitting in cash is trash.

  • Rule #8 — The Finance Media Is Not Your Friend. “If it bleeds, it leads.” Don’t let headlines dictate your convictions — that’s what Rule #22’s First Principles Research is for.

  • Rule #21 — The G.L.A. Secret Formula: DCA + Exponential Growth + Compounding Interest = Generational Wealth.

🌟 Who Inspires Us

We stand on the shoulders of giants — Cathie Wood, Ray Dalio, Peter Lynch, Warren Buffett, Ron Baron, Tom Lee, Peter Thiel, and Tony Seba — taking the best of each and forging our own perspective and game plan for the decade ahead. ARK Invest and Cathie Wood remain at the top of that list for long-term innovation thinking. Their research gives us courage, and our Constitution turns that courage into conviction.

“The research is the courage of our convictions.” — Rule #22, The G.L.A. Investing Bible

⚡ Stock Spotlight: Bloom Energy (NYSE: BE)

The AI power bottleneck has a solution — and its name is Bloom Energy.

Every hyperscaler and data center being built right now faces the same existential problem: the grid cannot keep up. Bloom Energy manufactures solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) — modular, onsite power plants that generate clean, reliable electricity 24/7 without depending on the grid. They run on natural gas today but are fuel-flexible for hydrogen and biogas as infrastructure matures, and they deploy in months rather than years — exactly what AI data centers need.

The Numbers Don’t Lie

Bloom just reported record 2025 revenue of $2.02 billion — up 37.3% YoY — driven directly by AI demand. Management guided for $3.1B–$3.3B in 2026 revenue (~60% growth), coming in 24% above Wall Street consensus. Their total backlog now sits at a staggering $20 billion, with product backlog 25x higher than the prior year. The contracts are signed — Brookfield Asset Management ($5B partnership), AEP (1 GW option), Oracle, and othersare all committed. Even BlackRock named BE one of its top AI energy picks for 2026 over Big Tech.

The G.L.A. Take 🔥

Bloom checks nearly every box in our Rule #25 Scoring System — visionary founder, must-have product, explosive revenue growth, massive TAM, and a moat built over two decades of SOFC R&D that competitors simply cannot replicate overnight. This sits at the perfect intersection of AI, energy infrastructure, and the productivity boom described in our Rule #3. The stock is up ~291% over the last year — and we believe this story has multiple chapters left.

Always do your own research. Not financial advice — just the G.L.A. way of finding tomorrow’s giants today. 🚀
