G.L.A. INVEST RESEARCH — PLTR EARNINGS: BUY, SELL, OR HOLD?

I have been getting a lot of calls asking why PLTR is down and what it will do on earnings. Let’s take a step back and look at the reality: PLTR is up 2,400% in the last few years. When you have a run like that, it is absolutely natural to see profit-taking when the market enters a period of uncertainty.

Right now, the market is in full swing “Voting Machine Mode” (Rule #1). Between the Fed, government shutdown fears, and geopolitical situations, investors are nervous. But let me be clear: Fear is normal. Pullbacks are normal. Just like waves on a boat ride or rush hour traffic, corrections and pullbacks are LITERALLY PART OF THE GAME. (Are You With Me So Far?)

We believe the earnings will confirm incredible growth in the commercial sector, but whether PLTR goes up or down tomorrow morning is irrelevant to our strategy. As we state in the G.L.A. BIBLE (Rule #6): Volatility is a feature, not a bug. It is the price we agree to pay for exponential growth.

Over the long term, the market transforms into a Weighing Machine. We are not focusing on the stock price reaction today; we are looking out over the next 1–5 years. Our research confirms that PLTR is proving itself to be, by far, the best AI software platform in the world.

We want our readers to think and invest with a long-term perspective (Rule #2). Focus on the company’s fundamentals, not the short-term stock price. This applies to all our top positions—HOOD, BMNR, TSLA, NVDA, etc. Our objective is long-term exponential growth, and we could not be happier with the fundamentals of our top holdings.

To quiet the noise, look at what the company is actually doing. Here is a list of the massive wins they have stacked in just the last two quarters. This is what winning looks like:

Visionary Founders Are Key When Investing Longterm.

THE GOLD STANDARD: UNDERSTANDING PALANTIR’S “RULE OF 40”

In the world of software investing, one metric separates the elite from the average: The Rule of 40. It is the ultimate test of a company’s ability to balance explosive growth with disciplined profitability.

What is the Rule of 40?
The Rule of 40 is a benchmark used by venture capitalists and institutional investors to measure the health of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) companies. The formula is simple but powerful:

Revenue Growth Rate (%) + Profit Margin (%) = Score

  • A score below 40% suggests a company is either growing too slowly or burning too much cash.

  • A score of 40% is considered “healthy” or “investable.”

  • A score above 50-60% is elite—the top 1% of software companies.

Most high-growth companies sacrifice profit for growth (high growth, negative margin), while mature companies sacrifice growth for profit (low growth, high margin). It is incredibly rare to do both at the same time.

PALANTIR IS IN A LEAGUE OF ITS OWN

In Q3 2025, Palantir didn’t just pass the Rule of 40—it shattered it.

Palantir achieved a Rule of 40 Score of 114%.

  • Revenue Growth: +63% (Year-over-Year)

  • Adjusted Operating Margin: +51%

Let that sink in. While other “high-flying” SaaS companies struggle to hit a combined score of 40, Palantir is effectively tripling the benchmark. This is what we mean when we say “exponential growth.” They are accelerating revenue while simultaneously printing cash.

This score of 114% is arguably one of the highest Rule of 40 scores ever recorded for a public software company of this scale. It proves that Palantir’s AI Platform (AIP) is not just a cool product—it is a high-margin, scalable software engine that defies the traditional “growth vs. profit” trade-off.

This is why we own it. This is why we hold it. This is why we ignore the noise.
