6. Washington dropped a monster Venezuela oil headline. The White House published details of the U.S.–Venezuela oil deal. Venezuela granted North American Blue Energy Partners 100-year concessions on 17 fields with roughly 65 billion barrels of proven reserves. NABEP plans up to $100 billion into infrastructure. The U.S. gets a 35% equity stake in the parent at “zero cost to taxpayers,” the right to buy 20% of current and future production at cost, first refusal on the other 80%, and veto power over board appointments — majority of the board must be U.S. citizens. Venezuela is expected to take about $200 billion in royalties and taxes over the first 25 years. They’re calling it the biggest oil deal in world history. Energy geopolitics just got a new chapter.

7. The interest bill officially hit a new high.
U.S. annual interest expense is now a record 18.5% of federal revenue, topping the 18.4% mark from 1991. That share has more than quadrupled in four years. The annual interest tab sits at a record $1.25 trillion — more than 4x the 1991 level. The 30-year yield is around 5.21%, just 13 basis points off its highest since 2007. Back in 1991 that yield was near 8%. Different rate, much bigger debt pile. This is the quiet pressure that never leaves the tape. IMHO the only way we get out of this debt is to grow our way out! We need to cut the regulations as much as possible and let AI, ROBOTICS, GENOMICS, ENERGY STORAGE, and BLOCKCHAIN produce our way out of debt.

8. BofA is leaning into Meta’s consumer AI push.
BofA reiterated Buy on $META with an $810 target, pointing to Hatch — Meta’s consumer AI agent — potentially launching early September inside Instagram and WhatsApp. Hatch can browse sites and complete tasks: purchases, restaurant bookings, forms, communications. They’re also targeting an October launch for a new model called Watermelon that’s shown frontier-level results on some internal benchmarks. Hatch is expected to tap that later. BofA likes the distribution advantage of Meta’s user base, but says the whole thing lives or dies on ease of use, real utility, trust, security, and whether the subscription math pays for the compute.

9. Options flow told you where the action was.
Most active contracts today: $TSLA 4.4 million, $NVDA 3.3 million, $AAPL 1.3 million, $AMZN 1.0 million, $MU 952K, $META 606K, $SPCX 561K, $INTC 470K, $PCG 460K, $GOOG 453K. When Tesla and Nvidia dominate the options pit like that, the market is voting with both hands on autonomy and AI infrastructure.10. GTA 6 leaks hit Take-Two, and China took another HBM step. I may put a call option to work tomar on $TSLA, will keep you posted.
