📊 SECTION 1: MARKET OVERVIEW
Good morning, G.L.A. Nation! It’s Monday, April 27th, and we’re walking into one of the BIGGEST weeks of the year. Let’s get after it.
Overnight Futures (as of 7:30 AM ET):
S&P 500 Futures: Essentially flat — hovering around the flatline
Nasdaq-100 Futures: Up +0.2% — tech leading again
Dow Jones Futures: Down ~54 points (-0.1%)
SPY closed Friday at $713.94 (+0.77%) | QQQ closed at $663.88 (+1.91%)
The S&P 500 and Nasdaq both closed at FRESH ALL-TIME HIGHS on Friday. April has been a monster month — the S&P 500 is up over 9% and the Nasdaq has surged more than 15% month-to-date. Remember Rule #19: The market spends 83% of the time within 10% of its all-time highs. This is what that looks like.
What’s Driving Markets This Week:
1. Mag 7 Earnings Bonanza — This is THE week. Five of the Magnificent Seven report earnings: Microsoft (MSFT), Alphabet (GOOG), Amazon (AMZN), and Meta (META) on Wednesday, followed by Apple (AAPL) on Thursday. Over 160 S&P 500 companies report this week. Total Q1 2026 earnings are expected to climb +14.5% on +9.7% higher revenues. This is the biggest earnings week of the season, period.
2. Federal Reserve Decision (Wednesday) — Markets are pricing in a 100% chance the Fed holds rates unchanged. But here’s the bigger story: this could be Jerome Powell’s final meeting as Fed Chair before Kevin Warsh takes over in May. The DOJ dropped its criminal probe into Powell on Friday, and Senator Tillis ended his block on Warsh’s confirmation. Transition of power incoming.
3. Iran/Geopolitical Tensions — Iran peace talks have stalled. Trump scrapped plans to send envoys to Pakistan for ceasefire negotiations. Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps boarded two container ships near the Strait of Hormuz, a critical chokepoint for global crude flows. WTI crude jumped ~2% to above $96/barrel, Brent topped $107. However, Axios reports Iran has offered a new proposal to the U.S. for reopening the Strait. Analysts believe the conflict remains on a path of de-escalation.
4. Mortgage Rates — The 30-year mortgage may be poised to dip below 6% this week. Mortgage applications up 7.9% week-over-week. Positive for housing and consumer sentiment.
🚨 Media BS Alert: You’ll see headlines screaming about Iran and oil prices trying to scare you out of your positions heading into the most important earnings week of the year. Don’t fall for it. The finance media THRIVES on fear (Rule #8). The S&P is at all-time highs. The economy is growing. Earnings are expected up 14.5%. Stay focused on the research, not the headlines.

Also won Golden Dome interceptor contracts — tasked with space-based interceptor capability by 2028. SpaceX IPO remains the most anticipated event in private markets.
Anduril — Won Golden Dome contracts alongside SpaceX, Lockheed, Raytheon, and Northrop. Cementing itself as the dominant next-gen defense technology company.
Anthropic — Valued at approximately $380 billion. Expected to explore public listing Q4 2026 alongside OpenAI.
OpenAI — Targeting listing early as Q4 2026. The AI IPO wave is real.
Cerebras & Kraken — Both in the 2026 IPO pipeline. Total AI/crypto IPO wave could exceed $240 billion+.

🦅 SECTION 5: ARK / CATHIE WOOD WATCH
Cathie has been ACTIVE:

Buying DoorDash (DASH) — on-demand economy thesis.
Buying X Energy (XE) — nuclear energy for AI data center power demands.
Sold $75 million of AMD — trimming semiconductors, reallocating.
Trimmed Rocket Lab (RKLB) — taking profits.
Loading up on Tempus AI (TEM) — world’s largest multimodal clinical dataset.
ARK Venture Fund (ARKVX) made first-ever lead investment in startup Lucra — NOT an AI company. Social gaming platform. Shows ARK thinking beyond AI hype.
Our Take: Cathie is doing what we teach — concentrating on high-conviction names, buying on weakness, thinking 5-10 years out (Rule #23). Her buying AMZN ahead of earnings signals conviction in the AI infrastructure buildout.
📖 SECTION 6: BIBLE LESSON OF THE DAY
Rule #6 — Volatility is a Feature, Not a Bug
Like waves on a boat ride, or traffic at Rush Hour, Corrections are Literally part of This Game. So Don’t Panic or be Surprised when they happen!
Why This Rule Matters TODAY:
We’re heading into the most volatile week of the quarter. Five Mag 7 earnings reports, a Fed decision (potentially Powell’s last), and stalled Iran peace talks with oil above $96. The media will try to scare you with every single headline.
Here’s the truth: Volatility is your traveling companion and the price you pay for exponential growth. PLTR is down 30% from its highs — that’s not a disaster, that’s a SALE. Bitcoin pulled back — that’s a DCA opportunity. Oil spiking on Iran tensions — that’s noise, not signal.
The people who get fearful during periods like this don’t know what they own (Rule #4). WE know what we own. We’ve researched every position to the bone.
The stock market is the only store on earth where the shoppers get scared during a sale.
This week, while others panic-sell on headlines, we’ll be calmly watching our baskets, ready to DCA if the market gives us a gift. That’s the G.L.A. way.
🏀 SECTION 7: SPORTS CORNER
NBA Playoffs: The Oklahoma City Thunder go for a SWEEP of the Suns tonight. The Minnesota Timberwolves have a chance to eliminate the Nuggets. Five teams at 3-1: Thunder, Timberwolves, Lakers, Spurs, and Celtics. Playoff basketball is 90% mindset — sound familiar? (Rule #20!)
NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs: Game 5 tonight — Philadelphia Flyers at Pittsburgh Penguins, 7:00 PM ET on ESPN. Classic rivalry.
MLB: Regular season continues across the league. Baseball is a marathon, not a sprint — just like investing.
💰 THE G.L.A. INVEST SECRET GENERATIONAL WEALTH FORMULA
DCA + Exponential Growth + Compounding Interest = Generational Wealth
We are in the beginning phases of the largest innovation and productivity boom in human history. AI, Robotics, Energy Storage, Blockchain, and Genomics will drive the largest bull market ever. The companies that solve the biggest problems will have the largest exponential returns.
Stay disciplined. Stay researched. Stay long-term.
