📊 SECTION 1: MARKET OVERVIEW

Good morning, G.L.A. family! Happy Friday — and what a week it’s been.

FUTURES ARE GREEN THIS MORNING:

• S&P 500 futures: +0.4% (S&P closed at a FRESH ALL-TIME HIGH Thursday before pulling back)

• Nasdaq 100 futures: +0.6% (Nasdaq also hit a NEW RECORD Thursday)

• Dow futures: +123 points (+0.3%)

THE BIG STORY TODAY: April Jobs Report at 8:30 AM ET

This is the main event. Economists are expecting a WEAK number — just 55,000 to 65,000 jobs added in April, way down from March’s 178,000. Unemployment expected to hold at 4.3%. The ADP private payrolls number on Tuesday came in at 109,000, which beat expectations but still shows a cooling labor market. Watch for wage growth — expected to accelerate to 3.8% YoY from 3.5%. That’s the number incoming Fed Chair Warsh will be laser-focused on.

Here’s what the media WON’T tell you: A soft jobs number is actually GOOD for our strategy. It gives the Fed more cover to cut rates, which fuels the innovation names we own. The finance media will scream “JOBS WEAKNESS!” and try to scare you into selling. Don’t fall for it. (Rule #8 — The Finance Media is Not Your Friend.)

GEOPOLITICAL: US-Iran Tensions Still Elevated But Contained

The U.S. and Iran exchanged fire in the Strait of Hormuz Thursday — each side blaming the other. Trump called it “just a love tap” and said the ceasefire is still intact. Oil is elevated but manageable: WTI crude ~$95/barrel, Brent ~$101. The media wants you to panic. We don’t panic. We prepare. (Rule #6)

MACRO PICTURE:

• Earnings season has been STRONG — S&P 500 Q1 earnings growth ~25% YoY

• Analysts still expecting 20%+ earnings growth in Q2, Q3, and Q4

• Nasdaq on pace for +2.8% this week, S&P +1.5%

• Tech is leading — communication services and IT were the only two sectors green Thursday

• Asian markets traded lower overnight on Iran worries, but European futures are recovering

🔥 SECTION 2: THE SEXY 6 UPDATE

1. TESLA (TSLA) — $411.79 (+3.28% yesterday)

Yesterday’s range: $402.12 – $415.83

TSLA ripped higher yesterday, gaining over 3%. The stock continues its recovery and is showing real strength. Revenue from Elon Musk-linked ventures continues to be a catalyst, while the robotaxi and Optimus robot narratives remain the long-term story here. Tesla is a company with 10 different business segments under one roof — the market still doesn’t fully price in the optionality.

Catalyst Watch: Robotaxi deployment updates, Optimus production timeline, energy storage growth

2. PALANTIR (PLTR) — $137.05 (+2.44% yesterday)

A BIG WEEK FOR PLTR. Argus Research just upgraded PLTR from “Hold” to “Buy” with a $190 price target. Multiple brokerages raised their targets after Palantir’s earnings beat and the company raised its 2026 revenue forecast by 10 percentage points. Motley Fool ran a piece predicting Palantir will be a TRILLION-DOLLAR stock by 2030 — and honestly, we’ve been saying this for years.

This is what happens when you know what you own (Rule #4). The market is slowly catching up to what we already understood about Palantir’s AI platform dominance.

Catalyst Watch: Government contract announcements, AIP platform expansion, international deals

3. STRATEGY (MSTR) — $179.84 (-3.74% yesterday)

The headline grabber this week. Strategy reported a $12.5 billion Q1 loss (on paper — unrealized BTC markdowns). The stock pulled back after the company opened the door to potentially selling Bitcoin — a shift from Saylor’s previous “never sell” stance. BUT — Saylor immediately followed up saying “Buy more Bitcoin than you can sell.” This is classic Saylor.

Context the media ignores: Strategy has established a $2.25 billion USD cash reserve to cover dividends and debt obligations. They’re being prudent, not panicking. Bitcoin is stalling around $80,800 on Iran tensions, but the long-term thesis is intact. ARK Invest just projected Bitcoin’s market cap hitting $16 TRILLION by 2030.

Catalyst Watch: Bitcoin price recovery, institutional BTC adoption, regulatory clarity

4. ROBINHOOD (HOOD) — $76.28 (-3.50% yesterday)

HOOD is down ~30% YTD from its 52-week high of $154, but Q1 revenue came in at $1.07 billion (+15% YoY). The big catalyst this week: Robinhood opened its private markets platform to 150,000 retail investors — Vlad Tenev announced the Ventures Fund I is now a publicly listed closed-end fund on the NYSE. This is the democratization of private markets. Revolutionary.

Analysts still see $125 fair value despite the pullback. At $76, we see this as a gift. (Rule #6 — Volatility is Vitality.)

Catalyst Watch: Private markets growth, crypto trading volumes recovery, international expansion

5. NVIDIA (NVDA) — $211.50 (+1.77% yesterday)

Goldman Sachs says NVDA could see a “major re-rating” ahead of Q1 FY27 earnings on May 20th. They call the stock “meaningfully undervalued.” Jensen Huang just spoke at the Milken Institute Global Conference this week — continued bullish messaging on AI infrastructure demand.

Catalyst Watch: May 20 earnings (THE catalyst), data center demand, Blackwell chip ramp

6. ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB) — $26.58 (-1.66% yesterday)

Bitcoin hovering around $80,800, pulling back slightly on Iran tensions. ARK Invest’s Big Ideas 2026 report projects Bitcoin to $16 trillion market cap by 2030, driven by institutional demand. We continue to DCA into this position on weakness.

Catalyst Watch: Institutional inflows, regulatory developments, Iran resolution boosting risk appetite

📈 SECTION 3: APEX 10 ADDITIONS

BITMINE IMMERSION (BMNR) — $22.00 (-3.97% yesterday)

Major news this week: BMNR announced its Ethereum holdings reached 5.18 MILLION tokens with total crypto and cash holdings of $13.1 BILLION. The company completed its NYSE uplisting and is now backed by institutional investors including Cathie Wood’s ARK. BMNR is trading $625M/day in volume — this is no longer a small-cap sleeper. It’s the Ethereum version of what Strategy is to Bitcoin.

STRATEGY PREFERRED (STRC) — $99.96 (flat yesterday)

Strategy maintained the 11.5% dividend rate for May — third consecutive month at that level. Shares are steady near par ($100). STRC is our “cash-like” income position in the portfolio. The 11.5% yield while Bitcoin exposure runs in the background is exactly what this instrument was designed for.

LEMONADE (LMND) — $54.43 (+2.70% yesterday)

LMND bounced back yesterday after dropping 13.8% last week post-earnings. Q1 showed strong growth but the company missed on profitability. Management has guided for positive EBITDA by Q4 2026. In-force premiums at $889M (+24% YoY), 2.31M customers (+17%). The AI-driven insurance model is working — profitability is the next milestone.

AMAZON (AMZN) — $271.17 (-1.39% yesterday)

Amazon is forecasting $200 BILLION in capital expenditure for 2026, mostly directed at AI infrastructure. Q1 earnings contributed significantly to the S&P 500’s ~25% earnings growth. Analyst consensus price target: $313. AWS + AI + advertising is an unstoppable trifecta.

🕵️ SECTION 4: PRIVATE MARKET INTEL

🚀 ANTHROPIC x SpaceX/xAI — THE DEAL OF THE YEAR

The biggest private market news this week: Anthropic struck a deal with SpaceX/xAI to use ALL of the Colossus data center capacity. This is a landmark deal. Elon Musk’s merged SpaceX-xAI entity is now providing compute to its one-time rival. The deal will directly improve capacity for Claude Pro and Claude Max subscribers. This signals that the AI compute race is so intense that even competitors are partnering. Bullish for the entire AI ecosystem.

🛡️ ANDURIL — $31 Billion Valuation, Pentagon Favorite

Anduril announced its consortium for the Golden Dome space-based missile interceptor program for the U.S. Space Force. Fortune profiled CEO Brian Schimpf as the quiet engineer building America’s defense tech future. With the US-Iran conflict ongoing, defense tech companies like Anduril are in prime position.

🔍 PERPLEXITY AI — $21B Valuation, Growing Fast

Perplexity continues rapid product expansion: added GPT-5.5 as default model, image generation, Snowflake/Databricks integrations, and reusable Workflows. Processing over 30 million queries daily. The AI search engine is eating into Google’s territory.

Other Private Holdings: Cerebras quiet this week — watching for IPO updates. Saronic continues hiring aggressively for autonomous surface vessels — defense tech tailwind remains strong.

🏹 SECTION 5: ARK / CATHIE WOOD WATCH

Cathie Wood has been BUSY this week:

SOLD: $95+ MILLION in AMD shares across multiple trading sessions from late April through May 7. ARK is clearly rotating out of AMD — this is the biggest single-stock sell program from ARK in recent memory.

BOUGHT:

• Tempus AI (TEM) — 155,045 shares purchased May 7 through ARKK and ARKG. AI-powered healthcare.

• Shopify (SHOP) — Added to positions

• GeneDx (WGS) — Genomics play, aligning with ARK’s Big Ideas

BIG IDEAS 2026 HIGHLIGHT: ARK’s annual report projects Bitcoin market cap to $16 TRILLION by 2030, driven by institutional demand. This would imply BTC prices well above $500,000.

Our Take: Cathie selling AMD and buying into AI healthcare + genomics is textbook Rule #16B (Opportunity Cost Rule). She’s moving capital from a mature semiconductor position into higher-conviction exponential growth bets. We respect the process.

📖 SECTION 6: BIBLE LESSON OF THE DAY

Rule #6 — Volatility is a Feature, Not a Bug

“Like waves on a boat ride, or traffic at Rush Hour, Corrections are Literally part of This Game. So Don’t Panic or be Surprised when they happen!”

How This Applies Today:

Right now, the media is SCREAMING about U.S.-Iran tensions. Oil at $95-101. Ships exchanging fire in the Strait of Hormuz. And what happened to the market? The S&P 500 and Nasdaq hit ALL-TIME HIGHS this week. MSTR dropped 3.7% yesterday? HOOD is down 30% from highs? BMNR pulled back 4%?

THIS is volatility. THIS is the price we agree to pay for exponential growth.

The people panicking right now are the ones who don’t know what they own. They see a red number and hit sell. But us? We see a red number and we think: “Is our bull thesis still intact?” And the answer today is YES — across the board. Earnings are growing 25%+. AI is still in its early innings. Bitcoin is being adopted by institutions at an accelerating rate.

“Volatility Is Our Traveling Companion, and the Price We Agree To Pay For Exponential Growth!”

My approach is DCA on weakness, holding with conviction and letting the weighing machine do its work.
