📊 SECTION 1: MARKET OVERVIEW

What a month. The S&P 500 just capped April with a +10.4% gain — its best month in over five years. The Nasdaq surged +15.3% for the month. The Dow climbed +1.6% in yesterday’s final session. If you were sitting in cash panicking about tariffs and Iran in early April, you just missed one of the most powerful rallies we’ve seen in years. Rule #7 — Miss 10 Days, Lose Half Your Gains. This is why we don’t trade. This is why we don’t panic.

Overnight Futures (as of 7:30 AM ET):

  • S&P 500 (ES): +0.1% — nudging higher

  • Dow Jones (YM): +0.1% — steady

  • Nasdaq 100 (NQ): Flat to slightly negative — rotation pressure continues

Why the muted open? Several factors:

  • European markets are CLOSED for Labour Day (France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, China) — expect thinner volume today

  • Apple crushed earnings after hours — record quarterly results, EPS $2.10 (+22%), strong iPhone sales, up ~3% after hours

  • Amazon demolished Q1 — $181.5B revenue (+17% YoY), EPS $2.78 vs $1.64 expected, AWS reaccelerated to 28% growth (fastest in 15 quarters)

  • US GDP came in at 2% for Q1 2026 — economy remains resilient

  • Jobless claims fell to lowest since 1969 — labor market is on fire

TODAY’S KEY DATA:

  • 9:45 AM: S&P Global U.S. Manufacturing PMI (April) — Flash reading 54.0

  • 10:00 AM: ISM Manufacturing PMI (April) — Consensus 53.0 vs prior 52.7

  • ISM Prices Paid — Watch this closely. Forecast at 80 amid oil-driven cost pressures

🛢️ The Elephant in the Room — Oil & Iran:

Brent crude sits at $111.07/barrel. WTI at $105.17. The Strait of Hormuz crisis continues — the IEA has called this the “largest supply disruption in the history of the global oil market.” Iran maintains its nuclear stance, Trump is exploring options to reopen the strait, and there’s a conditional ceasefire in play. Gas prices are climbing to 4-year highs nationally. This is the single biggest macro risk on the board right now.

🔥 Media BS Alert: You’ll see headlines today screaming about oil prices and recession fears. Remember Rule #8 — The Finance Media is Not Your Friend. The same outlets that told you to sell during the April correction just watched you miss a 15% Nasdaq rally. GDP is growing. Jobs are at multi-decade strength. Earnings are crushing. The economy is NOT breaking — the media just profits when you’re scared. Stay focused on fundamentals.

🔥 SECTION 2: THE SEXY 6 UPDATE

1. TESLA (TSLA) — $381.63 (+2.37%)

  • Range yesterday: $368.17 – $384.75

  • Key news: Tesla is set to exceed $25 billion in capital expenditures in 2026, focused on autonomy and AI. FSD continues advancing — HW3 owners just got another massive update with improved urban handling and parking. Tesla Semi production is officially underway.

  • Catalyst Watch: Robotaxi expansion, Cybercab production ramp, FSD 14.x improvements, Semi deliveries. Motley Fool just published “Tesla Stock is Outrageously Cheap — Here’s Why There Could Be Another 100% Upside.” We’ve been saying this.

  • Our take: Tesla is a multi-segment monster. Autonomy alone could be a $10 trillion TAM. We’re long and strong. 💎

2. PALANTIR (PLTR) — $139.11 (+0.83%)

  • Range yesterday: $136.65 – $140.20

  • Key news: Q1 2026 earnings drop THIS SUNDAY, MAY 4th. Options market pricing a massive 10.55% swing either direction. Wedbush AND Baird both reaffirmed BUY ratings ahead of earnings, citing AIP success.

  • The setup: Trump’s $1.5 trillion defense budget makes Palantir look less like a “story stock” and more like a strategic defense vendor. CNBC running bearish technicals — classic media narrative before a beat.

  • Catalyst Watch: Sunday earnings, government contract wins, AIP commercial expansion

3. STRATEGY/MICROSTRATEGY (MSTR) — $165.45 (+4.59%)

  • Range yesterday: $159.00 – $166.84

  • Key news: A $142 billion Canadian government-backed retirement fund just disclosed a $219 million stake in Strategy. This is institutional adoption of the Bitcoin treasury model. B. Riley raised price target to $200 from $188.

  • Bitcoin Conference 2026 just wrapped — momentum building. Analysts watching the $170 breakout level.

  • Our take: Institutional money is piling in. Michael Saylor’s playbook is being validated in real-time. 🚀

4. ROBINHOOD (HOOD) — $72.89 (+2.37%)

  • Key news: HOOD dropped 13% after Q1 earnings earlier this week — crypto transaction revenue fell 47% YoY. The market panicked. 1.6 million shares dumped in the first 5-minute candle.

  • BUT — Cathie Wood bought $39 million worth of HOOD on the dip, trimming ARKB to fund it. When most investors ran, Cathie stepped in. That’s conviction.

  • Our take: Crypto revenue is cyclical — it’ll come roaring back. The platform, the user base, the Gold subscription growth — all intact. This is a Rule #6 moment: Volatility is Vitality. We’re buying the dip with Cathie.

5. NVIDIA (NVDA) — $199.57 (-4.63%)

  • Range yesterday: $198.70 – $211.10

  • Key news: Fell ~4% on rotation into competitor chips following reports of weak OpenAI revenue/user growth. But here’s what the headlines won’t tell you: NVDA maintains 71% gross margins and 60% operating margins. That’s elite.

  • Earnings May 20th. Consensus PT $275.25. Current PE ratio 42.72 with 1.9% dividend yield.

  • Our take: A 4% pullback on NVDA is a gift, not a crisis. The AI infrastructure buildout is still in early innings. Don’t let a red day shake your thesis.

6. ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB) — $25.35 (+1.24%)

  • Bitcoin: Trading at $76,550 — stable after recent volatility

  • Key news: Institutional demand remains strong. Exchange reserves continue falling (bullish supply dynamic). Bitcoin was +13% in April.

  • ARK’s Big Ideas 2026 report predicts Bitcoin market cap hitting $16 TRILLION based on six distinct demand categories. That would put BTC well above $500K per coin.

  • Our take: We own the future of money. Patience pays. 🧱

📈 SECTION 3: APEX 10 ADDITIONS

BITMINE IMMERSION (BMNR) — $21.40 (+3.58%)

  • Ethereum treasury play continuing to build. Solid day. This is a long-term hold in the crypto infrastructure space.

STRATEGY PREFERRED 10% (STRC) — $99.75 (+0.28%)

  • Steady as she goes. Collecting that 10% preferred dividend while having Bitcoin exposure through Strategy. This is our preferred-stock position with upside.

LEMONADE (LMND) — $56.64 (+1.14%)

  • Q1 2026 results just dropped: Revenue hit $258 million with improved gross and net loss ratios. Net loss narrowed to $35.8 million. Customer count and in-force premium continue climbing.

  • AI-powered insurance is working. The path to profitability is getting shorter. This is exactly the kind of hyper-growth setup we look for.

AMAZON (AMZN) — $265.06 (+0.77%)

  • MONSTER Q1: $181.5B revenue (+17%), EPS $2.78 vs $1.64 expected. AWS reaccelerated to 28% growth — fastest in 15 quarters.

  • This is a fortress company firing on all cylinders. AWS alone is an absolute beast. Amazon remains one of our mega-cap stock holdings with massive upside potential.

🔒 SECTION 4: PRIVATE MARKET INTEL

The biggest private market story right now:

SpaceX, OpenAI, and Anthropic are ALL preparing to go public — potentially as soon as later this year. The S&P 500 is considering fast-track entry rules specifically because these companies are so massive they’ve exposed tensions in the existing eligibility framework.

xAI has been acquired by SpaceX. Elon merged his AI company into SpaceX to “accelerate humanity’s future.” Some analysts are imagining a consolidated “Musk Inc” — combining Tesla’s Optimus robot body with xAI’s Grok brain, wrapped in SpaceX’s infrastructure.

Other private holdings to watch:

  • Anduril: Defense tech continues to benefit from the $1.5T defense budget environment

  • Cerebras: AI chip alternative gaining traction

  • Stripe: Payments infrastructure — quiet but compounding

  • Neuralink: Brain-computer interface trials expanding

  • Perplexity: AI search continuing to grow

Access via ARKVX: The ARK Venture Fund gives exposure to many of these pre-IPO names.

🦅 SECTION 5: ARK / CATHIE WOOD WATCH

Cathie has been BUSY this week:

  • Bought $39 million of HOOD — after the Q1 earnings dip. Classic Cathie: buying fear.

  • Bought $18 million of CoreWeave — beaten-down AI infrastructure stock.

  • Bought $14.1 million of Alphabet (GOOG) — adding megacap tech exposure

  • Sold $75 million of a surging semiconductor stock — taking profits and reallocating

  • ARK’s Big Ideas 2026: Predicting Bitcoin market cap to hit $16 TRILLION

Cathie is doing exactly what we preach — buying the best companies during volatility, not running from it.

📖 SECTION 6: BIBLE LESSON OF THE DAY

Rule #6 — Volatility is a Feature, Not a Bug

“Like waves on a boat ride, or traffic at Rush Hour, Corrections are Literally part of This Game. So Don’t Panic or be Surprised when they happen!”

Why today? Because this week tested conviction across the board:

  • HOOD dropped 13% after earnings — and Cathie bought $39 million worth

  • NVDA fell 4.6% on rotation fears — despite 71% gross margins and AI demand exploding

  • Oil at $111 has everyone screaming recession — while GDP grew 2% and jobless claims hit 57-year lows

  • The media is feeding you fear while the S&P just had its best month in 5+ years

The people who get fearful during corrections don’t know what they own. We know what we own. We did the research.

Volatility is only bad if you don’t know what you own. Volatility is Vitality. Volatility is our Traveling Companion, and the Price We Agree to Pay for Exponential Growth.

The stock market is the only store on earth where the shoppers get scared during a sale. Don’t be that shopper. 🛒💎
