🚀 The $1.5 Trillion “Undervalued” IPO

The rumors are confirmed. SpaceX is preparing for what could be the largest IPO in history at a $1.5 trillion valuation, looking to raise approximately $30 billion in 2026.

While the sticker price shocks Wall Street, at G.L.A. INVE$T, we believe this is grossly undervalued. Here is why:

1. The Pivot: Starlink is Now an AI Play

This IPO isn’t just about rockets; it is about the convergence of energy and compute. Elon Musk has realized that the winner of the AI race is simply whoever can deploy compute and energy fastest.

  • The Physics: Earth is energy-constrained. Space offers infinite solar power.

  • The Plan: Turn Starlink into an orbital GPU swarm. New satellites (capable of 150 kilowatts) will act as data centers in space, harnessing the sun to train AGI and beam data back to Earth via lasers .

2. Infinite Energy Glitch

The math is staggering. A single Starship launch can carry up to 150 metric tons to Low Earth Orbit (LEO).

  • Power: Each AI satellite generates ~150 kW of power (roughly equivalent to 125 homes).

  • Scale: One fully loaded Starship launch deploys ~9 megawatts of power into orbit. That is equivalent to launching the power supply of a small city (approx. 7,500 homes) every single flight .

  • Cooling: Recent proofs of concept (like StarCloud’s H100 launch) prove that radiative cooling works in a vacuum. The “heat problem” is solved.

3. The Monopoly Moat

SpaceX has effectively monopolized LEO.

  • Dominance: Roughly 90% of active satellites are Starlink-affiliated.

  • Network Effects: The satellites communicate via optical lasers (photons), meaning data moves at the speed of light in a vacuum—faster than fiber optic cables on Earth .

  • Competition: Competitors like Blue Origin are estimated to be a decade behind.

🌍 Global AI Updates: The Hardware Wars

🇨🇳 The GPU War: US vs. China

The US government recently greenlit the sale of older Nvidia chips (H200s) to China with a 25% tax kickback to the US. However, China’s response was unexpected: “No thanks.”

  • Indigenous Tech: Chinese firms claim they have already smuggled enough hardware or are successfully pivoting to domestic chips to train frontier models like DeepSeek.

  • Strategic Shift: China is moving to reduce dependency on the US CUDA ecosystem to secure their own AI sovereignty .

👓 Google’s Hardware Return

Google is re-entering the wearables game with “Project Aura.” Unlike the failed Google Glass 1.0, these look to rival Apple’s Vision Pro but in a glasses form factor. While early prototypes look bulky, having Google back in the hardware game is bullish for the multimodal AI interface layer .

🧠 Open Source Efficiency

Nous Research just proved that size isn’t everything. They released a 30-billion parameter model that scored 87/120 on the Putinham Math Competition—beating human averages and rivaling massive corporate models. They achieved this via “agent harnesses” (AI agents debating to find the best answer) rather than just raw brute-force training. This suggests we can achieve AGI with less compute than previously thought .

Investment Thesis Conclusion:
We are witnessing the birth of a Type II civilization capable of harnessing its star’s energy. SpaceX is the toll booth, the highway, and the vehicle for this transition. A $1.5 trillion valuation is just the starting line (0 to 1). We are aggressively bullish.

Stay hungry, stay invested.
