📊 SECTION 1: MARKET OVERVIEW
Yesterday was a MASSIVE day. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq both closed at ALL-TIME RECORD HIGHS. Let that sink in. Just 13 trading days after the Nasdaq confirmed it was in a correction from the Iran war fears, it ripped to a new record. The Nasdaq is on an 11-session winning streak — the first time since November 2021.
Wednesday’s Close:
S&P 500: 7,022.95 (+0.80%) — Record closing high
Nasdaq: 24,016.02 (+1.60%) — Record closing high, 11-day win streak
Dow: 48,463.72 (-0.15%) — Slight dip as banks were mixed
What’s Driving Markets:
Iran De-Escalation Hopes: Investors are optimistic that U.S.-Iran talks could resume. Pakistan’s army chief is in Tehran helping extend the ceasefire. The White House says discussions are “ongoing and productive.” Markets are pricing in declining risk.
Earnings Season Off to a Hot Start: Bank of America up 1.8% after profit growth, Morgan Stanley soared 5%+ on record revenue. Broadcom popped after Meta extended its custom AI chip deal.
Oil Stabilizing: Brent crude around $95/barrel. If Iran talks progress, energy prices could drop significantly — a huge tailwind for the economy and inflation.
Today’s Economic Data (8:30 AM ET):
Weekly Jobless Claims — Watch for labor market softness
Philadelphia Fed Manufacturing Index — Key regional manufacturing gauge
The Media Narrative vs. Reality: Just two weeks ago, the finance media was screaming about a market crash, the Iran war destroying portfolios, and “get to cash now.” Sound familiar? Rule #8 — the finance media is NOT your friend. Those who panicked and sold missed one of the fastest recoveries in recent memory. The S&P was down 9% from its January high at its worst point in March. Now? New all-time highs. This is EXACTLY what we teach.
Fed Watch: Fed officials Musalem and Hammack are warning that elevated energy prices could keep inflation near 3%, reinforcing “higher for longer” rate expectations. Our take: Rates staying higher for longer is NOT bearish for our companies. It’s bearish for zombie companies that need cheap money to survive. Our companies have fortress balance sheets.
🔥 SECTION 2: THE SEXY 6 UPDATE
🚗 TESLA (TSLA) — $391.95 (+7.62%)
MONSTER day. Nearly 8% gain as Elon Musk touted chip progress for FSD/robotaxi.
Musk signaled unsupervised Full Self-Driving could enable widespread robotaxi service across U.S. cities by year-end — this is the $5-10 TRILLION opportunity.
RBC cut price target to $480 (still ~22% upside from here). Chinese robot rival Unitree ramping global push — competition heating up but Tesla’s data advantage is years ahead.
Catalyst Watch: Q1 earnings coming up. Cybercab production ramping. FSD improvements accelerating.
🧠 PALANTIR (PLTR) — $142.15 (+4.75%)
Shares bounced nearly 5% after a brutal week. Stock is down 28% YTD and fell 14% last week.
Michael Burry (“Big Short”) is shorting PLTR, saying it’s worth less than $50. We respectfully disagree.
Cathie Wood bought $11 million of PLTR on the dip (85,000 shares). When Burry and Wood are on opposite sides, we ride with Cathie.
Palantir has never been more central to U.S. war-room analytics under Trump. Defense spending + AI = Palantir’s sweet spot.
Our Take: PLTR at $142 is a GIFT. The 28% YTD pullback is the volatility we signed up for (Rule #6). DCA opportunity.
₿ STRATEGY (MSTR) — $143.54 (+4.46%)
Strategy bounced hard. STRC raised enough capital to buy another $1.76 BILLION in Bitcoin.
Analyst consensus price target: $367.64 — that’s 156% upside. 15 analysts covering.
Michael Saylor continues to execute: raise capital, buy Bitcoin, repeat.
📱 ROBINHOOD (HOOD) — $87.32 (+10.41%)
BEST PERFORMER! Surged over 10% after the SEC eased day-trading rules — a direct catalyst for Robinhood’s core user base.
ARK Invest scooped up 183,000 HOOD shares. Trailing revenue ~$4.47B and growing fast.
Our Take: HOOD is becoming the Schwab/Fidelity for the next generation. SEC deregulation is rocket fuel.
🟢 NVIDIA (NVDA) — $198.87 (+1.20%)
Steady gain as Meta extended its custom AI chip deal — committing to MILLIONS of Nvidia chips alongside Broadcom and AMD deals.
Our Take: NVDA below $200 while every tech giant spends billions on AI chips? The demand story hasn’t changed.
₿ ARK 21SHARES BITCOIN ETF (ARKB) — $24.91 (+1.01%)
Bitcoin hovering around $74,000-$75,000. Testing the $76,016 resistance level.
TODAY: SEC CLARITY Act roundtable — potential regulatory catalyst for crypto.
Next major catalyst: FOMC meeting April 29.
📈 SECTION 3: APEX 10 ADDITIONS
⛏️ BITMINE IMMERSION (BMNR) — $22.34 (+4.00%)
Solid day for our Ethereum treasury play. As Ethereum strengthens (~$2,323), BMNR benefits directly.
📄 STRATEGY PREFERRED 10% (STRC) — $99.32 (-0.68%)
Dipped below $100 par value after going ex-dividend. This is normal — not a fundamental issue. The 10% yield is INCREDIBLE in this rate environment.
🍋 LEMONADE (LMND) — $65.86 (+5.43%)
Strong bounce. Lemonade continues executing on its AI-driven insurance model. Insurance is a multi-trillion dollar industry ripe for disruption.
📦 AMAZON (AMZN) — $248.50 (-0.21%)
Flat day. We view AMZN as a fortress “cash-like” allocation. AWS benefits directly from the massive AI infrastructure buildout.
🏢 SECTION 4: PRIVATE MARKET INTEL
🚀 SpaceX / xAI — Combined Valuation: $1.25 TRILLION
Targeting a RECORD IPO — potentially $2 TRILLION valuation per Bloomberg.
NAACP suing xAI over Memphis data center air pollution. Regulatory headline risk but unlikely to derail IPO.
Exposure: ARKVX (ARK Venture Fund)
🤖 Anthropic — ~$380 BILLION valuation
Expected to explore public listing Q4 2026 alongside OpenAI (~$1T target).
🧠 Cerebras — Re-filed for IPO at $15-22B
AI chip company back on IPO track with wafer-scale processors competing with Nvidia.
🛡️ Anduril
Palmer Luckey on global AI arms race: “Russia, China and the United States are all building AI arms as a deterrent.” IPO anticipated 2026.
🚢 Saronic — Fast Company’s Most Innovative 2026
Autonomous warship startup led by ex-SEAL Team Six operator. The Anduril playbook for naval defense.
🔍 Perplexity AI — Launched “Perplexity Computer” (19-model AI agent, $200/month).
📊 Databricks — IPO pushed to H2 2026.
🧠 Neuralink — Continuing human trials. Brain-computer interface revolution progressing.
🏹 SECTION 5: ARK / CATHIE WOOD WATCH
Latest Trades (Week of April 13):
BOUGHT: 85,000 shares of PLTR (~$11 million) — Buying the dip while Burry shorts. Classic Cathie.
BOUGHT: 183,000 shares of HOOD — Doubling down on fintech revolution ahead of Q1 earnings.
SOLD: Strata Critical Medical (SRTA) — Continued reduction in healthcare position.
Latest Commentary (ITK Episode 78, April 9): Cathie dove into the PPI vs. CPI divergence — consumer inflation slowing but producer prices sticky. Her read: margin pressure for some companies but opportunity for those with pricing power and efficiency (like our SEXY 6).
Our Take: Cathie is doing exactly what we preach — buying high-conviction names during volatility. That’s Rule #6 in action.
📖 SECTION 6: BIBLE LESSON OF THE DAY
Rule #6 — Volatility is a Feature, Not a Bug
“Like waves on a boat ride, or traffic at Rush Hour, Corrections are Literally part of This Game. So Don’t Panic or be Surprised when they happen!”
How It Applies Today:
The Iran war erupted. The Nasdaq went into correction territory. The media screamed “GET OUT.” Michael Burry started shorting our stocks. And what happened? 13 trading days later — NEW ALL-TIME HIGHS.
The S&P dropped 9% from its January peak. Yesterday it set a new record. TSLA surged 7.6%. HOOD exploded 10.4%. The people who panicked and sold locked in losses. The people who DCA’d on the dip are sitting on immediate gains.
“The Stock Market is the only store on earth where the shoppers get scared during a sale.”
PLTR is down 28% YTD. Burry says it’s worth $50. Cathie Wood says “thank you” and buys $11 million worth. Who has the better long-term track record?
Volatility is the PRICE OF ADMISSION for exponential growth. If you can’t stomach a 28% drawdown in PLTR, you don’t deserve the 500%+ returns it’s delivered over the past three years.
Stay disciplined. Know what you own. I favor DCA on weakness. Let the media scream. We invest in the weighing machine, not the voting machine.
🏆 SECTION 7: SPORTS CORNER
🏒 NHL — FINAL DAY OF THE REGULAR SEASON! 6 games tonight. Stanley Cup Playoffs begin Saturday, April 18. Playoff hockey is ELITE.
🏀 NBA Playoffs — Play-In Tournament and first round underway. Full schedule through the weekend.
⚾ MLB — Early season baseball rolling. Standings taking shape.
💰 DCA + Exponential Growth + Compounding Interest = GENERATIONAL WEALTH
This is not a get-rich-quick scheme. This is a get-rich-FOR-SURE strategy for those with the patience and discipline to execute it.
