📊 SECTION 1: MARKET OVERVIEW

Good morning, G.L.A. Nation. Buckle up — we’re starting the week with geopolitical turbulence, but the long-term investor in us says: this is where fortunes are built.

Overnight Futures (as of 7:30 AM ET):

  • S&P 500 Futures (ES): 7,113.75 (-47.75 pts, -0.67%)

  • Nasdaq 100 Futures (NQ): 26,633.50 (-192 pts, -0.72%)

  • Dow Futures (YM): 49,274 (-367 pts, -0.74%)

What’s Driving Markets Today:

The dominant story this morning is the re-escalation of US-Iran tensions over the Strait of Hormuz. Just on Friday, markets celebrated when Iran declared the strait “completely open” to commercial traffic after a US-brokered Lebanon ceasefire deal. The S&P 500, Nasdaq, and Dow all surged — the S&P gained +4.5% for the week, Nasdaq popped +6.8%, and Dow rallied +3.2%.

Then over the weekend, it all flipped. The US Navy reportedly seized an Iranian cargo ship, and Iran is now threatening retaliation and has resumed restricting tanker traffic through Hormuz. Crude oil spiked to $89.20/barrel (+6.38%), reversing Friday’s sharp decline.

President Trump posted Sunday that he’s sending representatives to Islamabad for peace talks Monday evening — but also threatened to “knock out every single Power Plant, and every single Bridge, in Iran” if they don’t agree to a deal.

🔍 G.L.A. MEDIA BS ALERT: You’re going to see a LOT of fear-mongering headlines today. “Markets in FREEFALL!” “Is this the crash?!” No. Futures are down less than 1%. Last week the market RIPPED higher. This is a healthy pullback on geopolitical headlines — the kind that shakes weak hands out. Remember Rule #6: Volatility is a Feature, Not a Bug. The big money USES this fear to accumulate. Don’t be the one selling to them.

Earnings Week Spotlight: This is a MASSIVE earnings week — Tesla (Wednesday after close), Intel, IBM, Boeing, American Express, GE Aerospace, Philip Morris, and more. Tesla’s Q1 2026 report is the main event for us.

Economic Calendar:

  • Monday (Today): Nothing scheduled — let the geopolitical noise settle

  • Tuesday: US Retail Sales (March), Pending Home Sales

  • Thursday: Initial Jobless Claims, Flash PMIs (Services & Manufacturing)

  • Friday: Consumer Sentiment (Final, April)

Tech Events: Google Cloud Next (April 22-24, Las Vegas) — heavy focus on enterprise AI, Gemini, and infrastructure. Adobe Summit wrapping up today.

🔥 SECTION 2: THE SEXY 6 UPDATE

Friday’s closing prices (April 17, 2026). Pre-market may shift by open due to futures weakness.

1. TESLA (TSLA) — $400.62 (+3.01%)

  • THE BIG ONE: Tesla reports Q1 2026 earnings this Wednesday, April 22, after the close. This is the most anticipated earnings report of the week.

  • Stock has been climbing into earnings — up from $389 to $400+ on Friday’s close

  • Key focus: Robotaxi update, FSD progress, energy storage growth, China deliveries

  • Catalyst Watch: Any Robotaxi launch timeline update could send this stock parabolic. Also watching for commentary on the Optimus robot production timeline

  • Cathie Wood’s ARK has been BUYING Tesla recently — she sees where this is going

2. PALANTIR (PLTR) — $146.39 (+2.54%)

  • 5 consecutive green days heading into Monday — the AI defense juggernaut keeps marching

  • Key News: Cathie Wood just loaded $11 MILLION more of PLTR. When the Iran war escalated, defense AI demand spiked and Palantir was a primary beneficiary

  • Strong AI contract momentum continues with enterprise and government clients

  • Catalyst Watch: Any new defense contracts related to Middle East operations. Q1 earnings coming May — expect blockbuster government revenue

3. STRATEGY (MSTR) — $166.52 (+11.80%)

  • Monster Friday — up almost 12% in a single session as Bitcoin recovered alongside risk appetite

  • Michael Saylor’s Bitcoin treasury strategy continues to be the leveraged BTC play. Strategy World 2026 conference just highlighted AI-powered business intelligence expansion

  • BTC sitting at approximately $76,000+

  • Catalyst Watch: Any Bitcoin breakout above $80K could send MSTR flying. Watch for Saylor’s next BTC purchase announcement

4. ROBINHOOD (HOOD) — $90.75 (+4.49%)

  • Strong close approaching $91 — Robinhood continues its transformation from “meme broker” to legitimate fintech powerhouse

  • Cathie Wood’s ARK has been boosting HOOD positions recently

  • The platform’s crypto trading, retirement accounts, and Gold subscription are driving diversified revenue

  • Catalyst Watch: Q1 earnings expected soon — watch for crypto trading volume metrics and new product announcements

5. NVIDIA (NVDA) — $201.68 (+1.68%)

  • Trading near 52-week highs (~$211). The AI chip king is steady as ever

  • P/E of 41.18 with a 2.0% dividend yield — still not expensive for the growth profile

  • Average analyst price target: $275.25 — significant upside remaining

  • Catalyst Watch: Google Cloud Next this week could generate fresh AI infrastructure demand narrative

6. ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB) — $25.72 (+2.80%)

  • Bitcoin (BTC) trading around $76,000+ — solid position after recent volatility

  • BTC remains in the middle of its trading range — the Middle East uncertainty has added a “flight to hard assets” narrative

  • Catalyst Watch: Any resolution on Iran/Hormuz could trigger a broad risk-on rally that lifts BTC

📈 SECTION 3: APEX 10 ADDITIONS

BITMINE IMMERSION (BMNR) — $22.95 (+2.27%)

  • Big news: NYSE uplisting completed + announced a $4 BILLION buyback program. The stock has grinded from $18.30 in late March to $22.95

  • Ethereum treasury strategy is the crypto mining play we love. Higher lows all month

  • This is still under the radar — exactly how we like it (Rule #4: Know What We Own)

STRATEGY PREFERRED 10% (STRC) — $99.21 (+0.15%)

  • Trading near par value — exactly what you want from a 10% yielding preferred stock

  • This is our income-oriented preferred-stock holding that pays us to wait. Variable income while we look for opportunities

  • Perfect for periods of uncertainty like today’s Iran headlines — collect 10% and stay patient

LEMONADE (LMND) — $70.94 (+3.59%)

  • AI-powered insurance continues its recovery — up 3.6% Friday as the entire P&C insurance sector rallied

  • Lemonade’s AI underwriting model is exactly the type of disruptive innovation we invest in

  • The company is proving that insurance can be reinvented — loss ratios improving, customer growth accelerating

AMAZON (AMZN) — $250.56 (+0.34%)

  • Steady as she goes — Amazon is our “fortress” position in the portfolio

  • AWS continues to dominate cloud infrastructure. Retail logistics moat is unbreakable

  • Trading at $250 — this is a company that will benefit enormously from AI integration across every business segment

🔒 SECTION 4: PRIVATE MARKET INTEL

The private-to-public pipeline is about to EXPLODE. Here’s what’s happening:

🚀 SpaceX / xAI — The biggest story in private markets right now. SpaceX has confidentially filed for an IPO targeting a valuation above $1.75 TRILLION. This comes after the February 2026 merger with xAI at a combined $1.25 trillion valuation. This could be the largest IPO in history.

🧠 Cerebras — The AI chip maker just filed its prospectus to go public this week! Cerebras is positioning as the alternative to NVIDIA with its wafer-scale processors. Massive validation of the AI hardware boom.

🤖 Anthropic — Valued at $380 BILLION and widely expected to explore a public listing in the Q4 2026 window alongside OpenAI.

💡 OpenAI — Targeting a listing as early as Q4 2026. The ChatGPT maker would be another blockbuster IPO.

🛥️ Saronic — Named one of the most innovative companies of 2026 by Fast Company. The autonomous warship startup (founded by a SEAL Team Six veteran) is building unmanned naval vessels. Defense tech is white-hot right now given the Iran conflict.

Databricks, Stripe, Kraken, Perplexity — All in the IPO pipeline for 2026. ARKVX holders have early exposure to many of these names.

🏹 SECTION 5: ARK / CATHIE WOOD WATCH

  • NO TRADES on April 15 — Extremely rare for ARK. When Cathie goes quiet, she’s watching and waiting.

  • Loaded $11 million more PLTR — A bold conviction bet on Palantir’s defense AI dominance during the Iran conflict

  • Bought $2.5 million Netflix (NFLX) — Interesting dip-buy

  • Broader rotation: ARK boosted PLTR, TSLA, and HOOD positions while cutting semiconductor exposure. Rotating FROM hardware INTO software/platform plays

  • Sold Strata Critical Medical — Systematically reduced holdings. Classic ARK profit-taking

  • ARKK Flows: $1.3 billion in net outflows over 12 months. This is actually BULLISH for contrarian investors — when money flows OUT of disruptive innovation, it means the crowd doesn’t see what’s coming

G.L.A. Take: Cathie’s rotation into PLTR, TSLA, and HOOD aligns PERFECTLY with our SEXY 6 thesis. When Cathie and G.L.A. are on the same page, pay attention.

📖 SECTION 6: BIBLE LESSON OF THE DAY

Rule #6 — Volatility is a Feature, Not a Bug

“Like waves on a boat ride, or traffic at Rush Hour, Corrections are Literally part of This Game. So Don’t Panic or be Surprised when they happen!”

How This Applies Today: Right now, futures are red. The headlines are screaming about Iran. Oil is spiking. The finance media wants you SCARED. They want you to sell.

But here’s the truth: The S&P 500 just hit RECORD HIGHS last week. The market rallied nearly 5% in a single week. A 0.7% pullback on Monday morning is not a crash — it’s a NORMAL breather.

As our Bible teaches: “Volatility is Vitality. Volatility Is Our Traveling Companion, and the Price We Agree To Pay For Exponential Growth!”

The people panicking today don’t know what they own. WE know what we own. We own Tesla before Wednesday’s earnings. We own Palantir as defense AI demand surges. We own Bitcoin as the world questions fiat stability. We own NVIDIA as AI infrastructure spending accelerates.

The big money uses the volatility to manipulate the small money. Don’t be the small money today.

🏀 SECTION 7: SPORTS CORNER

Weekend Results: Lakers 107, Rockets 98 — LA takes Game 1. Game 2 in LA tomorrow (Tuesday, 10:30 PM ET).

💰 DCA + Exponential Growth + Compounding Interest = Generational Wealth 💰
