📊 SECTION 1: MARKET OVERVIEW
Good morning, G.L.A. Nation. Happy Friday.
Yesterday was a classic “sell the news” day — and the finance media is going to try to scare you with it. Don’t let them.
Here’s what actually happened:
The S&P 500 fell -0.41% to 7,108.40 and the Nasdaq dropped -0.89% to 24,438.50 — both pulling back from ALL-TIME HIGHS hit earlier in the session. Read that again. We pulled back FROM ALL-TIME HIGHS. The media will say “stocks slump” — I’m telling you the market is within spitting distance of records.
What drove the selling:
Software stocks got crushed — IBM fell 8% and ServiceNow crashed 18% on earnings. This dragged the broader tech complex.
Oil jumped higher, adding pressure to sentiment
Tesla sold off -3.56% despite BEATING earnings (more on this below — classic Wall Street manipulation)
But here’s what the headlines WON’T tell you:
U.S. Manufacturing PMI surged to 54.0 — the HIGHEST since mid-2022. This is the 4th consecutive accelerating manufacturing survey. The U.S. manufacturing renaissance is REAL.
U.S. Services PMI bounced back above 50 to 51.3, killing the recession narrative
U.S. Composite PMI at 52.0 — firmly in expansion territory
Europe is FALLING APART while America strengthens. Eurozone services PMI crashed to 47.4 (contraction), Germany at 46.9.
Initial Jobless Claims at 214K — barely above the 211K estimate. Labor market is SOLID.
Trump’s ceasefire extension with Iran continues to remove geopolitical risk
Mortgage rates dropped to 6.10% on the 30-year fixed
The bottom line: The U.S. economy is the strongest in the developed world right now. Manufacturing is booming, services are expanding, and we just pulled back slightly from ALL-TIME HIGHS. This is healthy. This is normal. Don’t let the media’s “STOCKS SLUMP” headlines shake you.
🔥 SECTION 2: THE SEXY 6 UPDATE
1. TESLA (TSLA) — $373.72 (▼ -3.56%)
This is a TEXTBOOK example of Wall Street manipulation. Tesla reported Q1 2026 earnings Wednesday night and BEAT on EPS: $0.41 vs $0.37 expected. Revenue came in at $22.39B (slight miss vs $22.64B). Deliveries were 358,000+ vehicles, production over 408,000, and 8.8 GWh of energy storage deployed.
So why did the stock sell off? Because Tesla raised its 2026 capex guidance for AI and robotics. Wall Street HATES when companies invest in the future — they want short-term profits. But WE know better. This capex is going toward Robotaxi, Optimus, FSD, and energy — the things that will make Tesla a $5-10 trillion company.
Catalyst Watch: Robotaxi progress, Optimus production ramp, energy storage growth continues to accelerate.
2. PALANTIR (PLTR) — $141.57 (▼ -7.24%)
Rough day for PLTR — down over 7% on broader tech/software pressure from the IBM and ServiceNow earnings misses. This had NOTHING to do with Palantir’s fundamentals.
The real story: Palantir just signed a $300 MILLION Blanket Purchase Agreement with the USDA. AI is becoming contentious in the midterm elections — which means MORE government spending on AI infrastructure, not less.
Catalyst Watch: Q1 earnings coming soon. RSI was overbought at 78 — this pullback is healthy.
3. STRATEGY (MSTR) — $172.47 (▼ -3.84%)
Michael Saylor’s machine keeps buying. Strategy just purchased 34,164 Bitcoin for $2.54 BILLION at an average price of ~$74,395/coin. Total holdings now: 815,061 BTC (~$61.56B total cost).
Strategy has officially passed BlackRock as the LARGEST Bitcoin holder in the world.
Since buying its first Bitcoin in August 2020, MSTR shares have climbed 1,170%.
Catalyst Watch: Bitcoin holding above $78K, continued BTC accumulation, institutional inflows accelerating.
4. ROBINHOOD (HOOD) — $83.54 (▼ -5.53%)
HOOD pulled back with the broader market, but fundamentals are STRONG. $78.1 billion market cap, $143.5 billion AUC, Robinhood Banking rolling out in 2026, acquired MIAXdx for prediction markets.
Catalyst Watch: Q1 2026 earnings report on April 28 (Monday!) after the close. BIG one.
5. NVIDIA (NVDA) — $199.64 (▼ -1.41%)
NVDA held up well in yesterday’s selloff. Trading between $197-$204, near its 52-week high of $211. AI chip demand remains INSATIABLE. Analysts see 35%+ upside over the next 12 months.
Catalyst Watch: Datacenter revenue growth, Blackwell chip ramp, AI capex spending by hyperscalers.
6. ARK Bitcoin ETF (ARKB) — $25.80 (▼ -1.43%) / BTC ~$78,000
Bitcoin holding steady near $78,000. Spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs pulled in $1.37 BILLION in net inflows the week ending April 17 — the largest weekly haul since January 2026. BlackRock’s IBIT hit the top 1% of all ETFs by inflows.
Catalyst Watch: Continued ETF inflow momentum, potential break above $80K.
📈 SECTION 3: APEX 10 ADDITIONS
BITMINE IMMERSION (BMNR) — $22.00 (▼ -5.62%)
Sold off with crypto markets but the story remains intact. BMNR is making a massive Ethereum treasury bet and recently uplisted to the NYSE. Dividend yield at 4.4%.
STRATEGY PREFERRED 10% (STRC) — $99.60 (▲ +0.16%)
The calm in the storm. STRC barely moved while everything else sold off — that’s the beauty of a 10% preferred stock backed by Strategy’s Bitcoin treasury.
LEMONADE (LMND) — $66.14 (▼ -0.54%)
BIG catalyst next week: Q1 2026 earnings on April 29 (before market open). Institutional buyers accumulating — Legacy Capital just took a $1.3M position.
AMAZON (AMZN) — $255.08 (▼ -0.11%)
Barely budged — relative strength. Surged 24% in the past month. BofA raised PT to $298, KeyBanc to $325. Cathie Wood bought ~$892K of shares. Q1 earnings also April 29.
🕵️ SECTION 4: PRIVATE MARKET INTEL
THIS IS THE BIGGEST IPO WAVE IN HISTORY. Reuters reports $3 TRILLION in combined value from upcoming IPOs.
🚀 SpaceX — Filed for IPO targeting a $1.75 TRILLION valuation. The LARGEST IPO in history.
🤖 Cerebras — AI chip maker filed to go public this month.
🧠 Anthropic — Valued at $380 BILLION after February funding round. Taking steps toward IPO.
💡 OpenAI — Seeking ~$1 TRILLION valuation for IPO.
🛰️ xAI — Exploring collaborations with Mistral and Cursor.
🧬 Neuralink — Fresh human trial data shared this week. Valued at $9 BILLION.
🔍 Perplexity — Consistent rumored AI IPO candidate.
📊 Databricks — IPO capital already committed for 2026.
Kraken delayed by market conditions. Stripe continues to be rumored. Saronic and Anduril remain private with strong growth.
🏹 SECTION 5: ARK / CATHIE WOOD WATCH
BUYS: Amazon (AMZN) ~$892K, DoorDash (DASH), Kratos Defense (KTOS)
SELLS: Iridium (IRDM) 81,422 shares ($3.4M), Circle (CRCL), Bullish (BLSH)
BIG NEWS: ARK Venture Fund made its FIRST-EVER lead investment in startup Lucra — not AI. ARKVX is available for as little as $500.
Cathie is rotating OUT of crypto stocks INTO Amazon/AI infrastructure. Building defense exposure with Kratos.
📖 SECTION 6: BIBLE LESSON — Rule #6: Volatility is a Feature, Not a Bug
“Like waves on a boat ride, or traffic at Rush Hour, Corrections are Literally part of This Game. So Don’t Panic or be Surprised when they happen!”
Yesterday Tesla sold off despite BEATING earnings. Palantir dropped 7% on sector pressure with nothing wrong fundamentally. HOOD fell 5.5%. This is completely normal. 5% corrections happen every 4 months on average.
“The people who get fearful during corrections don’t know what they own.” WE know what we own. Volatility is Vitality. The stock market is the ONLY store where customers get scared during a sale. Today? We’re shopping. 🛒
🏀 SECTION 7: SPORTS CORNER
NBA Playoffs — Round 1!
TONIGHT: Lakers vs Rockets Game 3 at Houston (8 PM ET) — Lakers lead 2-0.
Series: Pistons vs Magic (1-1), Thunder vs Suns (OKC leads 2-0, SGA dropped 37), Celtics vs 76ers, Spurs vs Blazers, Knicks vs Hawks, Nuggets vs T-Wolves, Cavs vs Raptors. Thunder defending champs — 3rd straight #1 seed. NBA Finals start June 3.
💰 THE FORMULA
DCA + Exponential Growth + Compounding Interest = Generational Wealth
That’s not just a formula — it’s a LIFESTYLE. Every paycheck. Every month. The biggest returns went to the people who HELD through the volatility.
